MECHRIC Sounds Alarm on Jihadist-Inspired Destruction of Historic Christian Symbols in the US

Statue of Saint Louis

WASHINGTON, DC, USA, June 30, 2020 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Middle East Christian Committee (MECHRIC) is alarmed at the wanton destruction of the symbols of Christianity in America and points to the danger posed by the aggressive actions of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), a Muslim Brotherhood front group, which apparently is seeking the destruction of historical Christian symbols including the statue of Saint Louis in Missouri.

On June 27, Umar Lee, a self described Salafi Islamist organizer of the protests, said that the statue "is gonna come down," as reported byJoel Currier of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. "This guy right here represents hate (…) We're trying to create a city where Black lives matter (…) where there is no Islamophobia … this is not a symbol of our city in 2020."

Moreover, Moji Siddiqi a member of CAIR seeking to topple St Louis statue said, "It's a revolution (…) our number one mission is to take this thing down."

Saint Louis, a French Saint and King, died in 1270 AD/CE, hundreds of years before the discovery and settlement of America by the Europeans. He is a Catholic Saint and revered by a billion Christians worldwide, including Africans, Middle Eastern and Asians. His symbolism has nothing to do with America's history. CAIR's Ikhwan agenda seems to want to destroy a symbol of medieval confrontation between Crusaders and the Caliphate. Like the Taliban totalitarian ideology, this drive to destroy religious symbols of Christians, moderate Muslims and Jews, is unacceptable and dangerous. This is a call to a religious conflict made in the midst of a civil rights protest.

American and Mideast American Christians reject CAIR's fundamentalist agenda and its abuse and manipulation of the Black Lives Matter protests and call on this organization to stop their aggression against global Christian symbols. MECHRIC also calls on American Christians and Muslim moderates to rally around these revered symbols and protect them peacefully across the nation. Millions of Catholics and other Christians will not accept this Jihadi agenda for the eradication of historic religious symbols.

CAIR is a member of the Action Network and the Regional Muslim Action Network, which organized protests to remove the statue of Saint Louis as well as to rename name the city itself. Several statues of St. Junipero Serra have been pulled down and vandalized in San Francisco and other California cities by radicals.

"CAIR is acting to incite and inflame tensions in America," said MECHRIC executive board member John Hajjar. "They are clearly using the Black Lives Matter movement to advance their own anti-Christian and anti-American agenda."

"We Christians, who come from the Middle East, know persecution and oppression in a way most Americans cannot understand," added Tom Harb, Chairman of the American Maronite Union. "The fact that CAIR is joining with neo-Bolsheviks to destroy symbols of American Christian culture is a dangerous development. We do not want to see Christian persecution come to America, but that is what is happening before our eyes."

The neo-Bolshevik far-Leftists and radical Islamists both seek to weaken and destroy the United States. Christians and moderate Americans from all faiths must unite to resist their relentless attacks. MECHRIC calls for all Christians to begin mobilizing to defend our faith symbols from the forces of anarchy, intolerance, and destruction.

The Eighth Round – Zeke Wilson's True Life Story

The Eighth Round Front Cover

Author Zeke Wilson

Zeke Wilson, Golden Glove Boxer, had his greatest fight not in the ring, but in the courtroom. He set the federal precedent for same race discrimination.

Zeke Wilson Knocks Out Same Race Discrimination in The Eighth Round!”

— Zeke Wilson

SAVANNAH, GEORGIA, UNITED STATES, June 29, 2020 /EINPresswire.com/ — One can say Zeke Wilson has been a fighter all his life. He was born in St. Helena Island, SC in 1957, the same year President Dwight Eisenhower passed the Civil Rights Act.

Ezekiel “Zeke” Wilson was the seventh of eighth children raised by a single mom, and so Zeke learned at a very young age that hard work and perseverance were two of the most important qualities needed to move forward in life.

Zeke played football for St. Helena Junior High School and Beaufort High School, and though he was proficient in the sport, he wanted more. He remembered watching a TV sports telecast, showing Joe Frazier about to fight Muhammad Ali at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Something then clicked for Zeke and instantly took an interest in boxing.

So he got to work. The next day he chopped down three trees for posts, dragged them home, set two in the ground and then tied the third across the top. Hanging from the top was a pair of old jeans filled with sand, and thus he created his homemade punching bag.

One day, a man saw Zeke jogging home from work. He stopped Zeke and asked him, “Zeke, what are you doing?” Zeke answered, “Just working out.” The man soon became Zeke’s first boxing manager.

After practicing and honing his skills, at 16 years old Zeke Wilson took on his first true opponent in a boxing match in Savannah, GA at the National Guard Armory. Zeke was matched with Golden Glove and State Boxing Champion. The night before the match, Zeke asked his momma, “What if I lose?” She encouraged him, saying, “As long as you do your best, you can't lose, God will give you what you need.”

When the time to fight came, Zeke knocked out his opponent in the first 10 seconds of the first round.

After graduating high school, Zeke moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He lived with his sister Frenisee, his Uncle Rufus and Aunt Jenna. Zeke was able to make it onto the Joe Frazier boxing team and spent time as his sparring partner.

Wilson’s book, The Eighth Round, is a true story based his life and the legal battle, which became known as Wilson V. McClure, that became the federal precedent for all legal findings of same race discrimination.

Under the Civil Rights Act of 1964 of the United States, it is illegal to discriminate against a person or persons because of the color of their skin, their national origin, or racial composition.

The story involves a common man who found himself faced with racial discrimination, specifically same race discrimination. It tells of his struggle and triumph, involving important and timely social issues raised through the misuse of authority by both black and white government officials.

Though these events happened years ago, they are very relevant today. The Eighth Round is the perfect book to read in this day and time as the fight for civil rights continues on.

United for Human Rights Florida is Open with Answers to Today's Human Rights Problems

Child having fun

CLEARWATER, FL, UNITED STATES, June 29, 2020 /EINPresswire.com/ — United for Human Rights Florida Chapter has its center open to assist a society in the search for solutions to today’s social upheavals. The center, located at 29 N. Fort Harrison Avenue in downtown Clearwater, Florida is open from 2:00pm to 7:00pm Monday through Sunday.

While the general message of today’s protests is that human rights are being violated, a survey done by United for Human Rights found that nearly 97% of the population couldn’t name more than 3 of the 30 human rights listed in the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights. UHR Florida aims to educate the public on what these human rights are, so as arm individuals with the right tools so that they can protect and stand up for their rights.

Cristian Vargas commented, “While discrimination, whether religious, racial or other, exists, we have to understand what we’re fighting for. You can’t stand up for something that you don’t understand.”

According to Vargas, the Center is already being flooded with request for help. Once Clearwater resident wanted to know what he could do about discrimination at his housing unit, and another resident asked what she could do to forward human rights in her community.

The center has implemented COVID19 protocols including 6-foot social distancing signs, free masks and free gloves for anyone entering the Center, as well as daily and frequent sanitizing.

For more information about United for Human Rights Florida, or to get involved and learn your human rights, please contact Cristian at (727) 265-7479, or email him at Cristian@humanrights.com. Follow UHR Florida on Facebook and Instagram @HumanRightsFL.

James Hardy Attorney Connecticut Discusses Criminal Defense in the Age of Protest

James Hardy Attorney Connecticut

James Hardy Attorney Connecticut

STAMFORD, CT, USA, June 29, 2020 /EINPresswire.com/ — James Hardy Attorney Connecticut has carefully watched the recent round of protests and, regardless of his political beliefs, is worried that many of these individuals are not prepared for the potential criminal cases. Here's what they need to know, he says.

Types of Charges That May Occur, According to James Hardy Attorney Connecticut
Over the years, James Hardy Attorney Connecticut has defended many different people in a variety of situations. And the recent glut of protests is a reminder that such actions often trigger a substantial excess of criminal convictions for people who have never been in the system before. James Hardy Attorney Connecticut finds that this situation is often tough for some people to handle.

And as the protests increase in intensity and spread, there's a very good chance that more people will experience many types of charges. For example, James Hardy Attorney CT states that many protesters get hit with charges like disorderly conduct or disturbing the peace. These charges usually occur if protesters block a sidewalk, refuse to obey police disorders, or shout at others in a way that may cause violence.

Even if a protest remains peaceful and carefully avoids these actions, James Hardy Attorney Connecticut has found that they may still be charged with unlawful assembly. This charge is often slippery because the police get to interpret when a crowd intends to commit an "unlawful" act. And if they refuse to leave when ordered to by the police, James Hardy Attorney Connecticut states this is considered proof that they want to commit an unlawful act.

Defenses Against Charges During Protests
James Hardy Attorney Stamford Connecticut says protesters who have little experience with the law may not realize the trouble they're getting into here. For example, they may be charged with misdemeanors that could cause them to go to jail for up to one year and even get a hefty fine. And if the protest turns violent – even if provoked by the police, James Hardy Attorney Connecticut says – they could be charged with a felony.

Defenses against this type of crime often hinge on the individual's behavior and their constitutional right to assemble, James Hardy Attorney Connecticut says. In such cases, he usually argues that the law against disorderly conduct was too vaguely applied in this instance and that his client was not breaking the law by merely being in a crowd, James Hardy Attorney Connecticut says.

And he may also argue that these laws were not applied according to reasonable guidelines and were discriminatory. For example, police breaking up a peaceful protest simply because they were black is not legal, James Hardy Attorney Connecticut argues. Though these types of cases aren't always easy to win, it is possible to get a good result when working hard, and with a good lawyer, James Hardy Attorney Connecticut argues.

WCCR Joins US State Department in Condemning Lebanese Judge’s Attempt to Silence US Ambassador

US Ambassador to Lebanon, Dorothy Shea

WASHINGTON, DC, USA, June 29, 2020 /EINPresswire.com/ — The World Council for the Cedars Revolution (WCCR) joined with the US State Department to condemn the actions of Judge Muhammad Mazieh who has apparently “ordered” all Lebanese media to refrain from publishing US Ambassador Dorothy Shea’s comments for one year after she criticized Hezbollah’s current stranglehold on Lebanon.

Said Ambassador Shea: "It [Hezbollah] has siphoned off billions of dollars that should have gone into government coffers so that the government can provide basic services to its people," she said. "It has obstructed some of the economic reforms the Lebanese economy so desperately needs."

“Ambassador Shea is absolutely right,” said WCCR Secretary General, Tom Harb. “Hezbollah’s tentacles reach into every arm of the Lebanese government and financial institutions. Their use of a mixture of bribery and intimidation is masterful and long-standing. Very few Lebanese have the courage to stand against them individually, but the silent majority wants an end to the corruption of their institutions. Hezbollah is slowing destroying Lebanon.”

“The United States government cannot oppose this terrorist organization everywhere in the world, while quietly allowing it to flourish in Lebanon,” added WCCR National Director, John Hajjar. “It’s ironic that this judge accused our Ambassador of interfering in Lebanese internal affairs, while Hezbollah was founded by Iran, is massively financed by Iran and directed at every turn by Iran. How is that not interference in Lebanese internal affairs?”

Hossein Khorram, AMCD Vice Chair, states: "Judge Muhammad Mazieh, or better said, his Tehran masters, wish to take what little free press is left in Lebanon with this political stunt. Now civil and criminal penalties can be brought against those few brave journalist when threat and intimidation has failed against them. An independent judiciary is essential for any democratic society and I find it a mockery of justice for a sovereign nation's judiciary to protect interest of another nation before their own."

“Hezbollah needs to be disarmed as per UNSCR 1559,” continued Mr. Harb.”Otherwise, the Lebanese people will continue paying the price for their country’s instability.”

WCCR maintains that Hezbollah has corrupted every aspect of Lebanese life. We applaud Ambassador Shea for her courage in speaking out against this evil terrorist organization. Calling it a political party does not change its Iranian-born terrorist stripes. If the Lebanese are to taste freedom once more, Hezbollah must be completely purged from the government and civil society. We stand with Ambassador Shea and the Silent Majority in Lebanon.

CACFP Child Care Worker Goes Above and Beyond During COVID 19 Pandemic

Vicky Urwiller-Sepcenko has fun with the children in her care while their parents are at work with essential jobs.

I am grateful for the families in my child care. They are trying their best to keep the children and myself healthy. I love what I do. I have the best job ever!”

— Vicky Urwiller-Sepcenko

AUSTIN, TX, USA, June 29, 2020 /EINPresswire.com/ — As the outbreak of COVID 19 has swept across the United States, stories of real heroes helping in a time of need come into focus. The National CACFP Sponsors Association recognizes that the child care workers are essential for families to continue to function during this time. On March 10th, when Coronavirus was shutting down the country, Vicky Urwiller-Sepcenko of Blair, Nebraska asked her child care families if they would like to leave the children in her care for 21 days as they were considered essential workers. The 21 days would allow much needed time for parents to get a better understanding of what was happening while formulating the best plan for their family. The children were safe together in a familiar environment and had no risk of being exposed to COVID as Vicky completely shut down to all outside factors. All of Vicky's families accepted her generous offer.

While Vicky is a member of the CACFP program, not all food costs were able to be covered during 24-hour care. Parents and families took turns bringing meals and leaving it at the back door. The children had both Zoom meetings and Facetime calls with parents and grandparents. The children participated in their normal child care activities and had a wonderful time with Vicky. At the end of the 21 days, after families had time to take all the factors into consideration, some children went home to stay with their parents. Others continue in Vicky's care while parents are away at work.

Many of Vicky's policies have had to change due to the virus. No one other than the children are allowed in the child care. Parents shower and change clothes before child care pickup and only pickup and drop off from their designated vehicle. Parents text when they arrive and Vicky brings the children out to the car. She has adjusted her hours to fit parents' schedules and deep cleans every night, along with consistent cleaning during the day. Each child has their own box for shoes and jackets and show and tell is no longer in their daily routines. The children that come miss the other children who are at home
with their parents, but continue to join Zoom meetings and Facetime visits so they can participate in virtual playdates and even birthday parties. The group is trying their best to keep their team healthy and happy.

As a way to reach all of the children that have been in Vicky's care throughout her 40 years as a provider, she has sewn over 700 face masks and distributed them across almost all 50 states to adults who were formerly in her child care. Vicky is an amazing child care provider and we are beyond fortunate to have her in the CACFP community.

CACFP is an indicator of quality child care. When children are cared for by providers who are part of the CACFP they are receiving the best nutrition available. Since 1986, the National CACFP Sponsors Association (NCA) is the leading national organization for sponsors who administer the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). It provides education and support to thousands of members in the CACFP community and in particular to sponsors of all sizes from across the country. CACFP strives to improve communication between families, caregivers, sponsors and their supervising government agencies.
