Best Original Song – Angelena Bonet

ADG Awards - Sydney, Australia

Australian Directors’ Guild Awards

Multi-Award Winning Documentary

Official Movie Poster

Multi-Award winning Australian singer-songwriter, documentary filmmaker and humanitarian, Angelena Bonet, has won another award for her song "Tragic Fairytale".

Tragic Fairytale was written from my spirit on the way to my twin brother's wedding, six weeks after my fiancé passed away. I wrote it in my mind in 15 minutes and creating the music video was magic!”

— Angelena Bonet

SYDNEY, NEW SOUTH WALES, AUSTRALIA, June 1, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ — Angelena Bonet, CEO & Founder of Crystal Heart Productions, has won the prestigious 'Best Music Video' award from the Accolade Global Film Competition in Hollywood. The award was given for Angelena's song, "Tragic Fairytale", which features in her multi-award winning documentary films. The Australian singer-songwriter has won over 160 film and music festival awards, including numerous 'Best Original Soundtrack' awards worldwide for her documentaries thus far. "Tragic Fairytale" features exceptional lyrics and a powerful message. She has a remarkable story of tragedy and resilience and triumph over such adversity and is inspiring and touching hearts all around the world. Her soulmate and fiancé of three days, Erick Deeby, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away in August 2007. He had written and recorded instrumental pieces of music for her between 2005 and 2007. Bonet then wrote the lyrics and melody to his music after his devastating death and during her time of deepest grief. Whilst living in Sydney's bohemian red light district of Kings Cross, they developed the sound of their music over a couple of years. Erick had also composed and produced music for various bands and soundtracks for Marvel Comics "Man Thing" and "Feed" directed by acclaimed Hollywood director, Brett Leonard ("Lawnmower Man" by Stephen King & Denzil Washington's "Virtuosity") before his sudden and unexpected death. Angelena promised him whilst in a coma that someday, somehow she would finish their special project.

She has kept her word and produced their album thirteen years later. Recorded at Trackdown Studios in Fox Studios Australia, Angelena produced their music and was engineered by Rose Mackenzie-Peterson. Trackdown Studios has produced many Hollywood soundtracks such as "I Am Woman", Disney's "Cinderella", "Lion" (starring Nicole Kidman and Dev Patel) which received six Oscar nominations at the 89th Academy Awards and George Miller's "Mad Max Fury Road" starring Charlize Theron. Angelena knew she had to produce this album on her own and the whole creative process has been organic and cathartic. She says her work saved her life and describes it as "a labour of love".

Bonet has also produced two web series, a biopic documentary short film "Change The World" and a trilogy feature film series consisting of "Angelena: Change The World", "Angelena: Heart Of The Matter" and "Angelena: Light At The End Of The Tunnel" in their entirety, which are all available to rent or buy on Vimeo On Demand. A former Australian supermodel and actress, she experienced two life changing tragedies, which she has chronicled in her documentaries. She is currently editing the fourth film of the documentary series and will be released later this year.

Sayed Sayedy, trainer and communication coach focuses on understanding in an intercultural context

Sayed Sayedy, in Munich. Photo: private

In conversation with Sayed Sayedy, trainer and communication coach focused on understanding and efficient problem solving in intercultural context.

GERMANY, June 1, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ — Who are you and why are you committed to a peaceful society?

"My name is Sayed Sayedy. In Afghanistan, my mother and I have been active for human rights, especially women's rights. I also trained as an IT specialist with the ISAF, where I also translated. That's why I had to leave my home country and arrived in Munich via stays in several countries at the end of 2014. During my many years as an intercultural trainer communication coach for both international soldiers and volunteers in my home country Afghanistan, in India, Pakistan and now also in field of migration and integration, I was and am confronted daily with many different refugees and their cultural misunderstandings, and this has encouraged me to continue working intensively in this important field. I would like to contribute my experiences to society through my seminars. This fulfills a strong desire of mine to be able to contribute to a more peaceful society, and I look forward to the challenges that come with it."

How do you go about your everyday life?

"My everyday life includes support and clarification in personal and family difficulties, in crisis and emergency situations, in the area of health, in the organization of everyday life and leisure time, in financial matters, in vocational and educational questions, in general questions about residence and employment, in the search for jobs and training positions and integration courses. I am also active, for example, as a freelance speaker on the topics of intercultural communication, violence prevention and further training for migrants and volunteers at MiMi (Migrants for Migrants)."

How do you see your professional future?

"I see my professional future in a civil society, public, intercultural sphere of influence. It is important to me to analyze international and intercultural migration events and to use them to develop sustainable improvement measures for our society. To this end, I would like to expand my practice-oriented skills."

What exactly do you want with your activities?

"I stand for a time-adapted and precautionary protection against violence that focuses on the concerns and integration development opportunities of girls, boys, men and women with a refugee and migration background. I want girls, boys, women and men with a refugee and migration background to integrate and to be able to lead a violence-free, self-determined and responsible life in Germany and to treat each other with respect."

How do you work specifically?

"My seminars, advanced trainings and trainings are based on the conviction that mediative violence prevention education is the best protection, and this works through motivating, intercultural and appreciative communication. On this basis I offer my trainings for professionals, volunteers, mentors and multipliers in migration, integration and refugee work. This gives them the skills to build a golden bridge in integration-related challenges.” At his seminars, he also wants to exchange theory and practice as needed to reflect on current common developments and needs. Sayed Sayedy is committed to respectful interaction, gender equity, acceptance of diversity and accommodating collaboration with other stakeholders in conflict resolution, violence protection and prevention.

Anything else you'd like to say?

"It is our task to practice communication that is acceptable to all parties so that the violence that can occur is resolved. This is needed in refugee work and social services, in community accommodations of refugees and among people with a migration background. The same applies to authorities, such as the KVR or even the police. Particularly in city districts where many people with a migration background live, mutual understanding is necessary, which results in our goal of promoting an appreciative, resilient and diverse society."

Finding your way in an unfamiliar and foreign environment takes a lot of effort. In addition to a new social environment, changing daily routines, and foreign language and culture, it is absolutely essential to get help as quickly as possible. It is best if you can turn to someone who has a similar migration background and can thus respond to you more individually. I experience it in my environment when experiences and ideas are expressed personally and helpfully, this usually leads to the fact that inhibitions can be overcome more easily, the communication among each other takes place more effectively and care relationships can be better managed through cultural understanding, says Sayed Sayedy. "Being together leads to getting to know and understand the different religions and traditions better. Respect for each other's beliefs and traditions plays a central role in this. The different aspects of humanity, the language variety and the entertainment value of the immigrant people are also an opportunity for a successful life together of native and immigrant people."

In interview with Sayed Sayedy, coach, mediator, trainer for intercultural competence

Sayed Sayedy sitting on a bench in Schwabing, Munich. Photo: private

Cultural diversity enhances the potential of our collaboration!

GERMANY, June 1, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ — Trainers for intercultural competence are not rare, but still in demand. It is the nuances of a language that are learned in personal exchanges, says Sayed Sayedy. He has been coaching for 10 years with a focus on understanding and effective problem solving in an intercultural context. Sayed Sayedy was born *1992 in Parwan, Afghanistan where he studied sociology and social work. During his school years and studies, he was already active as a consultant and activist for youth empowerment and worked as a trainer for the “Institut für internationale Zusammenarbeit des Deutschen Volkshochschul-Verbandes” until 2013. From 2001 to 2014, he worked as a translator and intercultural mediator for the international NATO security force ISAF. Even as a schoolboy he was enthusiastic about languages and Interculturality, which is a rarity.

He is currently studying "Training and Development" at the University of Salzburg and works freelance as a coach, mediator, trainer in an intercultural context. This includes classic intercultural competence as well as communication training, conflict management, diversity management and coaching.

Which target groups do you focus on?

They are very different groups that a globalized world brings with it. English is spoken in many companies and institutes, products are sold worldwide, international congresses are attended, research stays are planned. German native speakers want to deepen their foreign language skills, immigrants and visiting scientists want to learn German in order to integrate better outside of work. It is important to be aware of intercultural differences, he said. This applies to people who lead international teams as well as to salespeople who have customers in different countries, says Sayed Sayedy.

Would you like to say anything more specific about intercultural competence?

So intercultural competence means not only sensitivity to other cultures, but also recognizing so-called "blind spots," things that we take for granted, that we don't question, but that others in an intercultural environment don't take for granted, but are sometimes unfamiliar or incomprehensible. Employees who have intercultural competence are very valuable to a company because they not only bring empathy and attentiveness to dealing with colleagues from other countries, but also consciously perceive numerous aspects in company processes and explain them to their colleagues or inform them about them. They are able to look beyond their own horizons and see through the eyes of others – a precious skill.

(Video) Iran Election 2021: MEK and NCRI Supporters Echo Calls for Nationwide Boycott

31 May 2021 - Iranians supporters of the MEK and NCRI continued their protests in solidarity with the Iranian people’s nationwide campaign boycotting the regime’s sham presidential election.

— NCRI

PARIS, FRANCE, June 1, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ — Iranians, supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) continued their protests in solidarity with the Iranian people’s nationwide campaign boycotting the regime’s sham presidential election.

On Saturday, members of the Iranian diaspora in Cologne, Germany, held a protest, echoing calls for the nationwide boycott of the regime’s sham election in June. They carried pictures of the Iranian Resistance leader, Mr. Massoud Rajavi, and the NCRI’s president-elect, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi.

In addition to Cologne, Stuttgart also witnessed a protest by the MEK and NCRI supporters.

On May 29, Iranians in the Netherlands held a protest in the Dam Square in Amsterdam, calling for the boycott of the regime’s sham elections.

Besides protests in the Netherlands and Germany, members of the Iranian diaspora and the MEK supporters held protests in Gothenburg and Stockholm, Sweden, and in Vienna, Austria.

During their protests in various cities across Europe, Iranians chanted slogans such as: “Our answer to the 1988 Henchman [Raisi] is an overthrow,” “Raisi, Raisi, you’re a malicious murderer,” “Khamenei is a murderer and the Iranian people’s enemy,” “Down with the rule of the mullahs. Viva Rajavi,” “Mullahs in Iran have blood on their hands, and our vote is regime change,” “Raisi! The Iranian people have not forgotten that you are a butcher of the 1988 massacre,” “Raisi, the criminal! Your trial is on the way,” “Rajavi Yes, Mullahs No, they are terrorists they must go,” and “The first word, the last word, overthrow! Overthrow.”

More Iranians are joining the campaign of boycotting the regime’s sham election with the MEK’s Resistance Units at its forefront. Ebrahim Raisi, the current Judiciary Chief, is one of the main perpetrators of the 1988 massacre of over 30,000 political prisoners.

In line with the ongoing protests outside of Iranian, Iranians started an online campaign on Sunday at 1730 CET. Thousands of tweets were posted during this Tweet-A-Thon, calling for boycotting the Iranian regime’s sham presidential election.

Protests outside Iran and Thursday’s virtual campaign for boycotting the regime’s farce elections are in line with the ongoing campaign by the MEK’s Resistance Units inside Iran for boycotting the regime’s elections and popularizing this campaign.

For the last few months, the MEK’s Resistance Units have expanded their activities across Iran, making a significant push in the previous few months for boycotting the regime’s sham. In April, over 250 areas in 27 provinces checkered across Iran witnessed activities calling for a complete boycott of the regime’s sham presidential elections in June.

The regime’s officials and state-run have expressed fear about the MEK’s role in leading the nationwide campaign of boycotting the regime’s election.

“The opposition, inside and outside the country, is announcing that we should not participate in the elections to undermine the legitimacy of the system,” Mohammad Sadr, a member of the regime’s Expediency Council, told the state-run Etemad daily on May 20.

PRINCE JD, The Royal Prince from Kalinga dynasty as the Chief Guest at Humanitarian Awards ceremony declared his support to women and children worldwide.

If I am something good today, the prime reason is my mother, a woman and reason for my birth and rise. We are all happy souls due to a woman without whom there exists no life and future.”

— His Highness Prince Jagadeesh Daneti , Royal Prince of Kalinga Dynasty

LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, May 31, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ — “A day before, I came across a video of a gang rape where a young lady was brutally raped by 6 youngsters in presence of her boyfriend. The Guatemalan Chamber of Commerce, Guatemala Immigrant Association of Los Angeles and the Church of Scientology team up to provide food to those in need.

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES, May 31, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ — Volunteers handed out more than 2,600 boxes of food Saturday, May 29, at a food giveaway at the Church of Scientology Los Angeles organized by the Guatemalan Chamber of Commerce and the Guatemala Immigrant Association of Los Angeles.

Cars streamed through the Church’s parking lot where Scientology Volunteer Ministers, in their signature yellow jackets, placed boxes of food into cars.

The past year has created financial hardships and food insecurity for many L.A. families. In fact, the Los Angeles Food Bank estimates that as many as 25 percent of L.A. residents are struggling to access nutritious food.

“We are delighted to be able to assist the Guatemalan Chamber of Commerce in their humanitarian effort and bring some support to families over the Memorial Day weekend,” said Susanna Johansson, public affairs director for the Scientology Churches of Greater Los Angeles.

Originally scheduled to go from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., cars kept arriving and volunteers continued distributing food through the rest of the afternoon.

This was the second monthly East Hollywood food giveaway organized by the Guatemalan Chamber of Commerce and hosted by the Church of Scientology Los Angeles.

According to the Los Angeles Almanac, more than 270,000 Guatemalans live in the Greater Los Angeles area. L.A. County is home to the largest Hispanic and Latinx population of any county in the United States. This community has been disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The iconic headquarters of the Church of Scientology of Los Angeles is designed to provide the ideal facilities for Scientologists on their ascent to higher states of spiritual freedom and to serve as a home for the entire community and a meeting ground of cooperative effort to uplift people of all denominations.

The Church of Scientology Los Angeles is featured in an episode of Inside Scientology, which first aired in March 2018 in the broadcast when Scientology ecclesiastical leader Mr. David Miscavige launched the Scientology Network on DIRECTV channel 320. The episode can be streamed on Scientology.tv and is available through mobile apps and via the Roku, Amazon Fire and Apple TV platforms.
